Leaving the Rock

Sad to be leaving Maui. There's just so much to miss. From Home Maid's peanut butter mochi and peanut butter manju to Kamaole One beach. But what I'll miss most of all are these two girls.Kaia and Sachi are the sweetest girls you'll ever meet. They're so much fun and so full of love. 

Thankfully, they're coming to Seattle in June, then I'll see them at the big Seno-Gibson wedding in July. Hmmm... I'm thinking another trip to Maui is coming in late summer...

I think when Kaia pursues her acting/dancing career in New York, I'll let her live with me in a large apartment on the Upper West Side. I'm assuming she'll be attending Juiliard.

Sachi, on the hand, will be too busy touring the world on a surfboard to ever set roots anywhere. I fully expect to see that crazy girl in the X-Games. Who knows, in 15 years, surfing might be a Olympic sport.

Cool Wedding Cake

A couple of weeks ago I went to my cousin's wedding reception in Georgetown (a neighborhood south of downtown Seattle). It was a great party. One of the highlights was this magnificent wedding cake. Cupcakes! Ah, a couple after my own heart...
